North American  Commission For Partnership in Mission

Action Plan 2005-2008

1. Generate and implement ideas to cultivate Alphonsian/Redemptorist spirituality among all Christ's faithful through such means as:

- creating a Redemptorist prayer book for Redemptorist Associates and parishes
- congresses or convocations
- newsletters
- retreats
- pilgrimages
- North American gatherings of Lay Missionaries of the Most Holy Redeemer

2. Collect, develop and make available to all units resources for initial and ongoing formation of Redemptorist Associates and Lay Missionaries of the Most Holy Redeemer, using the www.redemptorists.com website as the primary vehicle of distribution.

3. Honour the diversity of the North American region by investigating the needs of multi-cultural communities.

4. Act as liaison between the North American region and the General Secretariat for Partnership in Mission.

5. Establish a North American Office of Lay Collaboration and hire/appoint a Director to:

- carry forward the day-to-day working of the Commission
- maintain the section of www.redemptorists.com devoted to the Redemptorist North American Commission for Partnership in Mission
