A Little About Ourselves

The Redemporists are the fifth largest congregation of men in the Catholic Church. While our name might not be as well known as some other religious communities, the Redemptorists continue to have a powerful impact on the St. Alphonsus Liguorifaith lives of people throughout the world by means of the missions and retreats we preach, the parishes and retreat houses we staff, the many books, pamphlets and "Liguorian" magazine from Liguori Publications, and the devotions we promote to honor Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Redemptorists are proud of our founder, St. Alphonsus Liguori. it is our Alphonsian heritage that impacts and dominates our preaching, ministry and life. Through the following articles we share with you some of that rich heritage, especially as it pertains to our North American context,  in hopes of helping you to grow closer to our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ. May these also help you to experience and realize daily, our Redemptorist motto, "With Him is Plentiful Redemption."
